Quasicristallo is an ongoing exploration.
The shifting boundaries that define its field of inquiry are traced by interactive installations, multimedia art, and luminous experiences.
Here, hybrid works are born merging light, matter, and technology.
Like the solids from which it takes its name, Quasicristallo approaches structure and form while remaining singular. It does not seek a fixed definition but moves between the tangible and the imaginary.
Within Quasicristallo, being “quasi” something is an expression of possibility.
As with a mountain – born of orogenesis and slowly eroded by wind – what defines forms, intentions, and the potential of all things here is continuous motion and transformation over time.
Thus, Quasicristallo is a tension towards, a being in becoming.
Its projects will take shape through the process. They will evolve within the space and through encounters with its inhabitants.
They will trace a path like a constellation, whose points can only be connected by the line of time.

Behind Quasicristallo, there is Laura Arcangeli, interaction designer, multimedia artist and creative technologist from Rome, Italy.
